If you're not familiar with the Texas Research Alliance (TRA), Victor Fishman or the North Texas Center for Mobility Technologies, you're missing out! TRA provides linkages between NTX universities, the private sector and government to increase advanced research across sectors, with the NTCMT laser-focused on future of mobility. Thank you to Victor and TRA for your partnership, looking forward to keeping the fires burning in 2022!

Celebrating Greatness with Gratitude: North Texas Innovation Alliance member Texas Research Alliance (TRA), and board member Victor Fishman provide such a critical role in moving forward advanced research partnerships amongst top universities and the private sector in North Texas, including The University of Texas at Dallas, Southern Methodist University, The University of Texas at Arlington, University of North Texas and Texas Christian University.

Founded in 2014, TRA’s mission is to grow research capacity and technology commercialization in North Texas by engaging industry, philanthropic, university, and state support. This growth comes from implementing programs that increase research at North Texas institutions of higher education and create economic growth and benefit. This year, TRA launched The North Texas Center for Mobility Technologies (NTCMT) bringing the coordinated expertise of Dallas-Fort Worth research universities to tackle mobility technology challenges across Texas, nationally, and globally in areas such as: autonomous vehicles, 5G, EVTOL, micro mobility, drones, Lidar, freight, networking, object avoidance, multi-modal, on-demand mobility, personal mobility, fuel cells, battery, electric motors, route planning and more.

Proposals are selected by committee, with match funding by the North Central Texas Council of Governments(NCTCOG). We are grateful to Victor Fishman for his leadership and partnership in advancing regional research initiatives benefiting smart, connected and resilient regional efforts! https://tradfw.org/ntcmt/
